Conference classes show strong demand
Registrations for the 200-odd classes at next week's ARM Developers Conference demonstrate the growing interest in a wide variety of applications for ARM processors
Registrations for approximately 200 classes being offered at next week's ARM Developers Conference demonstrate a growing interest in a wide variety of applications for ARM processors, going well beyond ARM's traditional wireless market dominance. More than 115 members of ARM's Connected Community are among the presenters of classes covering software development strategies, graphics and multimedia, power management, embedded Linux, system-on-chip (SoC) development, security function implementation, and ARM-based microcontroller development - just some of the 20 tracks into which the three-day curriculum is organised.

"The astounding range of classes being offered at the ARM Developers' Conference is a striking demonstration of the extent to which ARM has become an industry in itself and one that has generated many other businesses", said Glenn ImObersteg, President of ConVergence Promotions.
"The response we're seeing to the classes being offered shows, moreover, that there is still no substitute for a conference in which people can come together, exchange ideas, and learn from one another in a face-to-face environment".
The three-day ARM Developers' Conference, produced by ARM, RTC and ConVergence Promotions, runs from 19th to 21st October at the Santa Clara Convention Centre.
