Amphenol's PT Series connectors feature a dependable five key/keyway polarisation with bayonet lock coupling to ensure positive mating with no chance of cross plugging and are manufactured with rugged aluminium shell components.
Spring-tension, provided by a wave washer in the coupling nut, firmly maintains the interfacial seal between mating halves.
Other key features include moulded neoprene insert and main joint gaskets for excellent moisture sealing at the gasket and superior electrical isolation of the contact in the insert, as well as machined copper alloy pins and sockets, which are gold plated to eliminate contact corrosion and offer an indefinite shelf life.
The PT Series is intermateable and intermountable with Amphenol's other miniature cylindrical connectors, including the SP and MS/PT Series.
