Aerco has announced it is now able to supply Tips (Thermal Identification Printing System) - a computer-generated cable-marking system from Hellermann Tyton.

Tips can print onto self-adhesive labels, heat-shrink and non-heat-shrink tubing and a type of clip-on Tiptag.

The TIPS labelling system is claimed to be fast and simple to operate.

It lowers costs by reducing labour time and the risk of errors and minimises waste.

Using thermal transfer printing technology the system is supplied as a package comprising the TT4000, a robust, high-quality printer and Tagprint Pro, a Windows-based software system that enables the importation of information direct from an Excel spreadsheet or database and allows the generation of multiple lines of text, logos and barcodes.

A range of low-fume, zero-halogen and low-flammable consumables, including ribbons and Tiptag labels, can be supplied and tailored to suit the application.
