Extenders protect PXI measurement systems
The PCI-8570 and PXI-8570 enable remote control of PXI systems through a PC to avoid exposure to harsh or high-shock environments
The PCI-8570 (PCI-to-PXI) and PXI-8570 (PXI-to-PXI) enable remote control of PXI systems through a PC to avoid exposure to harsh or high-shock environments. The PXI-8570 can also be used to connect multiple PXI chassis in order to achieve data acquisition in large-scale or complicated systems.

Express acquisition card hosts 96 analogue inputs
Analogue input data acquisition card combines high channel density with the high bandwidth of an x1 PCI Express bus interface
The Adlink PXI/PCI-8570 employs StarFabric architecture, a well-known physical layer technology, with serial interconnects at 622Mbit/s and low voltage differential signalling (LVDS).
Four differential transmit and receive pairs are used to provide 2.5Gbit/s full-duplex link bandwidth.
Transmission distances can extend to 10m using shielded twisted pair copper cable.
The PCI interface supports 64 and 32bit PCIbuses operating at 66 or 33MHz.
A bundled link can support the full bandwidth of a 64bit/66MHz PCIbus.
All interrupts asserted by addon cards in the extension system are passed through the extension set to the host system.
The PXI-8570 and PCI-8570 have built-in transparent architecture and function independently of the operating system.
A PCI-to-PCI bridge in the system extension set provides 100% capability with PCI drivers, application software, BIOS, O/Ss, configurations etc.
Adlink PCI-to-PXI and PXI-to-PXI extension sets feature great scalability for high density I/O applications.
The PCI-8570 and PXI-8570 will be available in late November.
