New from Adlink Technology is the DAQ-2200 series of 32bit PCIbus 64-channel high-speed multifunction data-acquisition cards

All cards within the DAQ-2200 series can sample up to 64 channels of analogue signals with different gain settings and scan sequences, allowing the cards to handle high-density analogue signals with various input ranges and sampling speeds. DAQ-2200 series features 64 single-ended channels or 32 differential channels of analogue input with sampling rate from 250Ksample/s to 3Msample/s and resolution from 12 to 16bit.

The DAQ-2200 series can sample the channels in any order at the maximum conversion rate.

Each channel can be configured with a different gain, unipolar or bipolar, single-ended or differential while the information is stored in the channel gain queue, allowing DAQ-2200 to measure fast and slow, large and small signals with maximum flexibility.

Similar to its predecessor, the DAQ-2000 series, DAQ-2200 also features analogue and digital triggering, automatic calibration, simultaneously input and output operations, and multiple card synchronisation.

In addition to the high-speed analogue input feature, DAQ-2200 is also equipped with two 1Msample/s 12bit analogue output channels.

The analogue output can be pacer clock controlled and the data transfer can be done through software I/O update or bus-master DMA, which enables waveform generation through the use of the D/A output function.

Other than the PCIbus version, DAQ-2200 series can be easily upgraded to PXI and CompactPCI form factors.

By taking the advantage of carrier/daughter modular design, the upgrade is done by simply changing the DAQ-2000 PCIbus carrier to the PXIbus carrier; the high-performance daughter module can also be reused within the DAQ-2200 family of cards.
