The ASPMC-660 is a rugged 8Gbyte Flash PMC claimed to set a new benchmark with sustained transfer speeds up to 40Mbyte/s, and burst transfers at 100Mbyte/s

Occupying only a single PMC slot, the ASPMC-660 uses rugged fast Flash disk (FFD) technology. The current maximum memory configuration is 8Gbyte, with 16Gbyte planned to Q4 2004. PCI and Ultra IDE/ATA versions are available, both with conduction cooling option. The Ultra IDE/ATA version can be interfaced through the front panel or across rear I/O of a VME or CompactPCI card via Jn4.

The PCI version ASPMC-660 interfaces by Jn1 and Jn2 to the PCIbus providing an added online Flash disk storage which is scanned and registered automatically by CPU BIOS with no cables attached.

Specific application features can be supported, such as conformal coating, conduction cooling, VxWorks, Windows, Linux and Integrity OS, write protection, fast secure erase and more.

All types come with 3 years warranty.

The FFD unit is compliant with MIL-STD 810F for shock and vibration.

Three levels of operating temperature are available up to -40 to +85C, and units are rated for more than 5 million write/erase cycles with unlimited reading.

"Our expertise of designing rugged products for the Israeli and worldwide defence and automotive market is demonstrated in this card", says Yaron Mintzker Director of Sales and Marketing at Asine.
