The Components Division of Acal Electronics has evaluation kitsto help designers select the best device from Sagami's broadrange of wirewound chip inductors. The kits contain 20 of each ofthe 35 different values of inductor in the C2520C family, with a+/-5% tolerance. The inductors in the C2520C series are directwound to ensure a high Q.

Minimum series resonant frequencyranges from 4100MHz at 10nH to 60MHz at 4700nH.

Additional ranges of Sagami wirewound chip inductors areavailable from Acal, in 0805, 0603 and 0402 package sizes.
Forexample, the C1005C family the industry's first 0402wire-wound chip inductors offers inductance values from 1.8 to68nH.
From 1.8 to 5.1nH, inductance tolerance is +/-0.3nH; from6.8 to 18nH it is +/-5 or +/-10%; and from 20 to 68nH it is +/-2or +/-5%.
Minimum Q is between 20 and 30 and inductance valuesremain virtually constant to frequencies above 1GHz.
