Acal Technology and Acal Electronics are to merge, forming one of the strongest specialist electronics distributors in the UK.
Steve Sydes, Managing Director of Acal Technology, has also assumed overall responsibility for Acal's other UK electronics companies following the departure of Richard Allen.
These are Acal TC, Acal Radiatron and Stortech.
"The consolidation of the two businesses we believe will make the new and enlarged Acal Technology a compelling partner for our customers and suppliers", said Steve Sydes.
