Adax, an industry leader in high performance communications and signalling infrastructure, has strengthened its partnership with Continuous Computing by integrating the Adax HDCII and the ATMII product families for narrowband, broadband and IP signalling with Continuous Computing's Trillium+plus binary solutions. This joint effort has advanced the Trillium+plus product line to yield pre-integrated, high-performance packages serving SS7, ATM and SIGTRAN over T1/E1, OC3 and Ethernet interfaces across PCI, CompactPCI and AdvancedTCA architectures. Continuous Computing's Trillium+plus product line enables customers to accelerate time-to-market and reduce project risk and complexity by eliminating the need for costly software integration.

Trillium+plus products provide off-the-shelf flexibility and ease of use to upgrade, change or converge network interfaces without the need to retool and retrain.

This offering also supports Continuous Computing's patented Distributed Fault Tolerance/High Availability (DFT/HA) for Trillium SS7, SIGTRAN (M2UA/M2PA/SCTP), wireless, VoIP, IMS and broadband stacks.

In a business climate where the demand for speed, bandwidth, and new services increases almost daily, this solution offers both wireline and wireless telecom equipment manufacturers and service providers a faster time to market.

With many customers in common, Adax and Continuous Computing have taken special care to ensure that these latest products retain the cohesive Trillium and Adax style and interfaces with which their users are familiar.

'If your need is SS7, ATM, IP signalling, or convergence among all three, with Trillium+plus Adax and Continuous Computing have the fully integrated and tested product set', said Dr Barry Zuckerman, Adax President.

'Adax and Continuous Computing's customers like being able to purchase from a single source and eliminate the need to integrate the two companies' products'.

'Trillium+plus allows customers the option of buying Trillium protocol software as pre-certified and pre-tested binary solutions - a convenient, time-saving alternative to our traditional source code model', said Garrett Choi, General Manager of Continuous Computing's Trillium business unit.

'When pre-integrated with Adax line cards, the resulting solution offers significant performance and price advantages'.
