Aaeon releases AEC-6940 Intel Core 2 Duo processor

Aaeon's AEC-6940 is an advanced embedded controller that adopts the Intel Core 2 Duo processor.

It is a high-performance, high-end embedded controller that features high-speed processing.

It is known as the Boxer 2+ in the Aaeon Boxer Series.

The AEC-6940 features the Intel Core 2 Duo processor and two DDR III SODIMM system memory (up to 4GB).

This model deploys one PCI-Express[x16], one PCI-Express[x1], one Mini Card and one Express Card for expansion flexibility.

In addition, it is equipped with two Gbit Ethernets for faster network connections and rich I/O interfaces, such as four COM ports and four USB ports.
