‘Wireless Semiconductor’

An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release Monitoring system features Nordic transceivers from Nordic Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "Nordic Semiconductor has announced that Spantec has developed a fully comprehensive ANT+ telemedical remote monitoring system using Nordic nRF24AP2 eight-channel 2.4GHz ANT transceivers.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Gain blocks for cellular bands GSM, CDMA and UMTS from Avago Technologies: "Avago Technologies has expanded its high-performance power amplifier range with the MGA-31589 and MGA-31689 0.5-watt gain blocks, suitable for cellular infrastructure applications.".

In December 2010, we covered the news from Maxim Integrated Products - take a look at VGA for wireless infrastructure transceivers which says: "Maxim Integrated Products has introduced the MAX2062, a fully programmable, multistate, dual-channel, analogue and digital IF/RF variable-gain amplifier suitable for automatic gain control circuits.".

Take a look also at the news release from Mistral Solutions, Development board for HMI/automotive applications, as well as Bridge chip range for USB/(HID)-USB connectivity from Silicon Laboratories, and SOS substrate enables IC semiconductor manufacture from Peregrine Semiconductor.
