Start with the news release Aerco offers water- and dust-resistant switches from Aerco, which we summarised at the time by saying "Aerco is offering a new range of sealed, waterproof rocker and pushbutton switches from Cherry Electrical Products for applications ranging from vehicles and outdoor machinery to medical equipment.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Miniature switches target consumer electronics from C and K Components: "The expanded range of KMT0 ultra-miniature switches is targeted for consumer electronics and medical devices, including hearing aids, mobile phones, MP3 accessories and Bluetooth headsets.".
In May 2010, we covered the news from TTI - take a look at Halogen-free switches target limited-space tasks which says: "C and K Components has enhanced its KMT Series tactile switches for space-constrained applications using halogen-free materials.".
