‘Saw Devices’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release Monitoring system features Nordic transceivers from Nordic Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "Nordic Semiconductor has announced that Spantec has developed a fully comprehensive ANT+ telemedical remote monitoring system using Nordic nRF24AP2 eight-channel 2.4GHz ANT transceivers.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release International Rectifier offers automotive MOSFETs from International Rectifier: "International Rectifier has expanded its offering of 40 to 100V automotive-qualified MOSFETs, including a range of logic level devices. ".
In December 2010, we covered the news from Diodes Incorporated - take a look at Self-protected MOSFETs for automotive applications which says: "Suiting automotive and industrial applications, Diodes Incorporated's new self-protected MOSFETs are suitable for switching inductive loads, such as motors, relays and lamps at low frequencies. ".
Take a look also at the news release from ST Microelectronics, SoC ICs for cable and terrestrial set-top boxes, as well as Ultra-miniaturised wafer-level chip scale packages from Nordic Semiconductor, and QDR and DDR SRAMs for reducing power consumption from Cypress Semiconductor.
