An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release Integrated driver targets LED panel displays from Toshiba Electronics, which we summarised at the time by saying "Toshiba Electronics Europe (TEE) has launched the TC62D776, a high-accuracy integrated LED driver that incorporates 16-channel constant-current outputs for LED panel display applications. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Automotive 1.2A converter for tight power budgets from Maxim Integrated Products: "Maxim Integrated Products has announced the MAX16975 automotive-grade, 1.2A step-down converter optimised for operation over a 3.5V to 28V range.".
In October 2010, we covered the news from Maxim Integrated Products - take a look at ADC suited for precision sensor applications which says: "The MAX11210 single-channel, 24-bit ADC is suited for portable instrumentation, temperature sensors, and other precision sensor applications demanding low power consumption. ".
Take a look also at the news release from Silicon Laboratories, Capacitive MCUs address touch-sensing market, as well as Austriamicrosystems releases AS1115 LED driver from Austriamicrosystems, and LED driver requires low supply current from austriamicrosystems.
