Start with the news release Protocol stack enables Profinet device development from Molex, which we summarised at the time by saying "Molex has introduced the Brad IO-Device protocol development kit v2.2 for Profinet that enables OEMs to develop and market their own branded Profinet IO devices.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Edition 6.0 for security-dependent applications from Belden CDT: "Belden has introduced Edition 6.0, a new version of the software platform for the Hirschmann Mach, Mice, Rail and Octopus managed switches.".
In July 2010, we covered the news from Harting - take a look at Industrial Ethernet switch for automation systems which says: "Harting's Ha-VIS FTS 3100s-A industrial Ethernet switches offer Fast Track Switching technology to satisfy performance and determinism requirements in Ethernet networks for automation applications. ".
Take a look also at the news release from Harting, Tool ports components into automotive systems, as well as Hirschmann switches are IP67 rated from Belden CDT (cables), and Pushpull connectors permit RJ45 interfacing from Harting.
