An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release Compact linear regulator with thermal resistance from Linear Technology, which we summarised at the time by saying "Linear Technology has produced a wider-temperature-range version of the LT3010, a high-voltage, micropower linear regulator for avionics, military, industrial, automotive, RF and telecom applications.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Rugged wire cable system allows for blind mating from Samtec: "Samtec has released the PowerStrip/15 cable assembly (MPSS series), a robust, discrete power interconnect system suitable for limited-space, harsh-environment and/or high-current applications.".
In December 2010, we covered the news from Linear Technology - take a look at Current mode controllers for military applications which says: "Military-temperature-grade versions of the LTC3803/-3/-5 current mode flyback controllers are available in a six-pin ThinSOT package for industrial, telecom, military and automotive applications.".
Take a look also at the news release from Avalue Technology, TFT touch-panel PC for POS/kiosk applications, as well as Precision USB oscilloscope for scientific use from Saelig, and CMOS logic devices suited for mobile phones from Diodes Incorporated.
