‘Planar Transformers’

An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release High-temperature data-transmission system unveiled from Cissoid, which we summarised at the time by saying "Cissoid has unveiled RHEA, a high-temperature data-transmission solution with galvanic isolation of 2.5kV and operating reliably from -55 to 225C. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release DC/DC converter runs from TEGs and thermopiles from Linear Technology: "The LTC3109 is a step-up DC/DC converter and power-management IC that is designed to start up and run from millivolt input voltage sources such as thermoelectric generators (TEGs) and thermopiles.".

In November 2010, we covered the news from Chomerics - take a look at EMI shielding for medical device enclosures which says: "Chomerics Europe - a division of Parker Hannifin - has launched Soft-Shield 4850, an EMI shielding material that is suitable for medical applications using electronics equipment for patient care.".

Take a look also at the news release from Dycon , Switch mode power supply suited for CCTV, as well as FM antenna module targets digital media devices from Antenova, and PoE power supplies feature integral DC injector from Gresham Power Electronics.
