‘Photodetectors’

An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release Toshiba expands range of miniature photocouplers from Toshiba Electronics Europe, which we summarised at the time by saying "Toshiba Electronics Europe (TEE) has expanded its family of miniature photocouplers with devices that incorporate two switching channels in single SO-8 packages measuring 5mm x 4mm.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release INTEC develops embedded optical links from IMEC: "IMEC's associated laboratory at the Ghent University, INTEC, has designed functional optical links embedded in a flexible substrate. ".

In February 2007, we covered the news from Pacer Components - take a look at Camera has full colour on all pixels which says: "One-piece digital colour camera is capable of acquiring accurate, high-resolution colour images using the Foveon X3 TM Pro 14M CMOS colour image sensor.".

Take a look also at the news release from C and D Technologies (NCL), Signal processor cleans up on CCD imaging, as well as NPN phototransistors exhibit fast response times from Optek Technology, and Image processor targets CCD-based systems from C and D Technologies (NCL).
