Start with the news release Photo IC for optical switching applications from Hamamatsu Photonics, which we summarised at the time by saying "Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced a photo IC that is designed for optical switches and provides an analogue waveform output, proportional to the intensity of incident pulsed light. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release High-temperature data-transmission system unveiled from Cissoid: "Cissoid has unveiled RHEA, a high-temperature data-transmission solution with galvanic isolation of 2.5kV and operating reliably from -55 to 225C. ".
In December 2010, we covered the news from Linear Technology - take a look at DC/DC uModule PoL regulator for RAID systems which says: "The LTM4611, a complete switch mode DC/DC uModule point-of-load regulator, is suited for applications in systems with only 3.3, 2.8 or 2.5V as the main power rail.".
