‘Multilayer Ceramic’

An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release Rugged flame-retardent laminates for military PCBs from Rogers, which we summarised at the time by saying "Rogers has introduced XT/duroid high-performance thermoplastic laminate materials, suitable for high-frequency multilayer circuits in military, aerospace and deep-space applications.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Two-channel ADC for energy-harvesting sensors from Maxim Integrated Products: "The MAX11645 two-channel ADC is suited for applications ranging from energy-harvesting sensors to portable consumer electronics and point-of-load monitoring in networking and computer systems. ".

In December 2010, we covered the news from Texas Instruments - take a look at TPS54618 for DSP- and FPGA-based communications which says: "The TPS54618 provides 95-per-cent efficiency and operating current of 2.95-6V for point-of-load designs used in DSP- and FPGA-based communications, test and medical equipment. ".

Take a look also at the news release from Torex Semiconductor, CMOS LDO regulators for low-power applications, as well as 100V MOSFETs launched for space applications from International Rectifier, and Chip filters optimise performance of mobile phones from Taiyo Yuden.
