‘Laser Diode Drivers’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release Hamamatsu develops super luminescent diode from Hamamatsu Photonics, which we summarised at the time by saying "Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced a series of super luminescent diodes (SLDs) for use in ophthalmology, optical gyroscopes, OCT, fibre-optic and medical applications. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Power-management controller for standard MOSFETs from Texas Instruments: "Texas Instruments has introduced a power-management controller and driver for standard and logic-level N-channel MOSFETs used for low-voltage, secondary-side synchronous rectification. ".
In December 2010, we covered the news from Magna-Power Electronics - take a look at High slew-rate option for power supplies which says: "Power supply expert Magna-Power Electronics has released a high slew-rate output option to meet the demands of fast-performance DC applications such as battery charging and photovoltaic emulation.".
Take a look also at the news release from Molex, Valve connector simplifies manufacturing process, as well as Logic analyser and signal generator in one package from Saelig, and Saelig USB isolator for PC-connected devices from Saelig.
