Start with the news release Fibercore launches bowtie coupler fibres from Fibercore, which we summarised at the time by saying "Fibercore has launched the HB-C range of bowtie coupler fibres with characteristics developed to enable the fabrication of fused-taper, polarisation-maintaining couplers.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Specialist fibre technologies explained from Fibercore: "Formerly available only to the company's resellers, the Fibercore Fiberpaedia is now available to anyone with an interest in speciality fibre technology.".
