‘Cmos Image Sensors’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release CMOS image sensor put inside digital film camera from Cypress Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "Cypress Semiconductor's CMOS image sensor has been designed into the 35mm Alexa digital motion-picture camera from ARRI, used to produce films including 3D movies and commercial shoots.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Single-chip LED with green phosphor converter from Osram Opto Semiconductors: "Osram Opto Semiconductors has developed a pre-production green LED based on the Ostar platform that is twice as bright as its predecessors, for use in data projectors in office or education markets.".
In December 2010, we covered the news from Kontron - take a look at System host board for energy and medical sectors which says: "Kontron has introduced the PICMG 1.3 system host PCI-761, a slot-card-sized industrial server board equipped with the Intel Q57 Express chipset for asynchronous real-time applications.".
Take a look also at the news release from Maxim Integrated Products, Two-channel ADC for energy-harvesting sensors, as well as FPGA-based frame grabbers for image acquisition from Stemmer Imaging, and EEPROM blocks for program and firmware storage from Austriamicrosystems.
