‘Cameralink’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release FPGA-based frame grabbers for image acquisition from Stemmer Imaging, which we summarised at the time by saying "Stemmer Imaging can now offer what are said to be the world's fastest FPGA-based Cameralink frame grabbers from Silicon Software, which are suited as an OEM solution for image acquisition. ". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Board targets machine vision applications from Tokyo Electron Device: "Tokyo Electron Device offers the TB-6S-LX150T-GB-R half-size PCI Express frame-grabber board for machine vision applications such as imaging and inspection systems in industrial or medical equipment.".
In June 2010, we covered the news from Stemmer Imaging - take a look at NIR camera for inspection and quality control which says: "Stemmer Imaging has introduced a compact, uncooled, near-infrared (NIR) camera for inspection and quality control applications in the semiconductor, waste sorting and food inspection industries. ".
Take a look also at the news release from Hamamatsu Photonics, Digital camera incorporates Scientific CMOS sensor, as well as Kane to exhibit PXI Express range at NI Day from Kane Computing, and TED releases Virtex-5 PCI Express platforms from Tokyo Electron Device.
