‘Bicmos Process’

An Electronicstalk guide

Start with the news release QDR and DDR SRAMs for reducing power consumption from Cypress Semiconductor, which we summarised at the time by saying "Cypress Semiconductor has announced Quad Data Rate (QDR) and Double Data Rate (DDR) SRAMs at 36-Mbit and 18-Mbit densities, for networking use in medical imaging and military signal-processing.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release Gain blocks for cellular bands GSM, CDMA and UMTS from Avago Technologies: "Avago Technologies has expanded its high-performance power amplifier range with the MGA-31589 and MGA-31689 0.5-watt gain blocks, suitable for cellular infrastructure applications.".

In December 2010, we covered the news from Osram Opto Semiconductors - take a look at Single-chip LED with green phosphor converter which says: "Osram Opto Semiconductors has developed a pre-production green LED based on the Ostar platform that is twice as bright as its predecessors, for use in data projectors in office or education markets.".

Take a look also at the news release from Molex, Valve connector simplifies manufacturing process, as well as System host board for energy and medical sectors from Kontron, and Sensor IC withstands harsh automotive environments from Allegro Microsystems.
