‘Automotive Markets’
An Electronicstalk guide
Start with the news release Linear introduces H-grade switching regulator from Linear Technology, which we summarised at the time by saying "Linear Technology has announced a H-grade step-down switching regulator for load dump and cold-crank conditions commonly found in automotive applications as well as 24V industrial supplies.". Several months prior to that, we featured the news release International Rectifier offers automotive MOSFETs from International Rectifier: "International Rectifier has expanded its offering of 40 to 100V automotive-qualified MOSFETs, including a range of logic level devices. ".
In December 2010, we covered the news from Diodes Incorporated - take a look at Self-protected MOSFETs for automotive applications which says: "Suiting automotive and industrial applications, Diodes Incorporated's new self-protected MOSFETs are suitable for switching inductive loads, such as motors, relays and lamps at low frequencies. ".
Take a look also at the news release from Avago Technologies, Gain blocks for cellular bands GSM, CDMA and UMTS, as well as Sensor IC withstands harsh automotive environments from Allegro Microsystems, and Tyco announces JEDEC-based memory module from Tyco Electronics.
