Zytronic has applied touchscreen technology to membrane keypad applications to produce custom keypads that benefit from a zero wear-out mechanism and high resistance to scratches.
Zytronic has applied its durable projected capacitive touch sensor (PCT)-based touchscreen technology to membrane keypad applications, and developed Zyswitch, which allows custom keypads to benefit from a zero-wear-out mechanism and high resistance to scratches and physical or chemical attack The new Zyswitch keypad also requires no software driver which eases keypad integration and also simplifies direct upgrade or replacement of membrane-type units already in service
