Milne elected to fellowship
Dr David Milne, Managing Director of Wolfson Microelectronics has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering
"I am privileged and delighted to be elected as a Fellow of the Royal Academy", said Milne following the announcement. He explained, "The academy continually promotes excellence and innovation in engineering alongside the great work it does in encouraging and promoting engineering to the general public.
To be recognised by my peers in this way is a great honour".
Milne's election to the fellowship recognises his success in leading Wolfson Microelectronics to the status of internationally recognised supplier of advanced, high quality, analogue and mixed signal ICs.
The Royal Academy of Engineering now has1206 Fellows including some of the giants of British industry and academia and has recently announced its two youngest ever Fellows.
