Wireless Futures, the interoperability test company devoted exclusively to wireless technologies, has opened The Blue Labs in Milton Keynes, England
The Blue Labs are a suite of test labs devoted to the Bluetooth technology. They are equipped with a large range of reference Bluetooth products from a number of reputable manufacturers and also contain a range of Bluetooth test equipment for analysis purposes. Technical Director, Ian Daintith explained the function of the labs, "The Blue Labs form a permanent 'unplug-fest' facility.

"The key issue for the Bluetooth technology is generally regarded as being interoperability", explains Daintith.
"It is essential that one Bluetooth device can communicate reliably with other Bluetooth devices.

The Blue Labs will provide a full suite of other facilities such as adjoining development labs containing a range of test and development tools, a number of meeting rooms, confidential client rooms with Internet access, caf‚ bar area and video conferencing facilities.
The labs can be booked on a daily or weekly basis with or without engineering support.
