Handheld analyser turns to EMF
measurement
The 9102 handheld spectrum analyser with the 9131 EMF measurement option allows users to test actual radiation against defined limits.
The 9102 handheld spectrum analyser with the 9131 EMF measurement option is an easy and lightweight tester that allows network operators, broadcast stations, regulation authorities and engineering offices to test the actual radiation against defined limits; these measurements are stipulated in many countries and applications Several antennas for different purposes are optionally available

Spectrum and scalar network analysis come to hand
The 9102 handheld spectrum analyser is a new multifunction instrument designed for both laboratory and field applications.
System makes it easy to take EMF measurements
Willtek Communications has introduced a handheld product for electromagnetic field (EMF) measurements.
Willtek considers this combination an innovative solution because previous instruments were heavy and bulky or required an additional PC to control the antenna measurements as well as calculate and display results.
The analyser includes all the control and calculation software without the need for an external computer.
The Willtek 9102 handheld spectrum analyser with the 9131 EMF measurement option is available immediately.

Spectrum analyser moves up to microwave tasks
Handheld spectrum analyser can now operate at frequencies up to 7.5GHz, supporting new applications in the microwave range.
Handheld spectrum analyser has bandwidth bonus
Willtek Communications has a new series of spectrum analysers in the 4GHz class enabling detailed component-level repair of mobile phones using handheld equipment.
The 9102 equipped with the 9131 option for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) measurements is a unique solution because, although being a dedicated solution for EMF measurements, it can also be used for many other purposes.
With its 9130 VSWR/DTF measurement option, the 9102 supports many spectrum analysis and network analysis applications such as reflection measurements at antenna systems.
On its bright colour display, the 9102 can indicate the electromagnetic field measurement in volts per metre and in watts per square metre over a frequency range from 100kHz to 4GHz.
Wireless network and broadcast station operators can immediately measure the field strength of a new basestation or radio tower.
The measurement can be used as a proof to the regulatory body that the radiation of the installed transmitter falls below the specified limits.
It can also be used to re-assure the sensitised public that the exposure to radiation is far below national limits or recommendations set by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the International Commission on Non Ionising Radiation Protection (ICNIRP).
Willtek offers antennas for use with the 9102 in different applications.
Interfering transmitters can be identified and located with the help of directional antennas; Willtek's antennas cover emission measurements from 80 to 3000MHz.
The strength of electromagnetic fields can be measured with the help of biconical or isotropic antennas.
Willtek's 9171 isotropic antenna stores individual calibration data that are automatically read and used by the 9102; the analyser controls the six antenna elements and sums up the results without additional help from the user or an additional computer.
