A small footprint lead-free wave solder machine is now available from Manncorp.

The ECO-300 has a 100kg (220lb) titanium solder pot and requires only half of the customary solder start-up costs compared to large-pot machines.

With the faster heating time and lower thermal requirements of single-wave systems, the company said the machine consumes almost 40 per cent less energy.

Just over 8ft (2,500mm) long, the ECO-300 features a heavy-duty, transducer-controlled pump motor for precise solder wave uniformity and height control.

It also includes an automatically recirculating adjustable titanium finger conveyor for board widths to 11.8in (300mm), along with an 800mm (32in) preheat zone with stainless steel sheath type IR heaters.
