Power module weathers outdoor environment
A convection-cooled water-tight power module can be placed outside in direct contact with the elements, providing an ideal solution where enclosure space is at a premium
UR Group now offers a convection-cooled water-tight (IP65-rated) power module that can be placed outside in direct contact with the elements, providing an ideal solution where enclosure space is at a premium. The CC1000, manufactured by TDI, is a universal AC input, 1000W power module that can be left exposed to any weather, from driving rain to scorching sun.

Silicon DC/DC convertor takes inductor onboard
Point of load convertor incorporates PWM controller, power FETs, compensation circuitry and magnetic components in a single, turnkey IC package
Available in matt black or sunlight-reflective white, the CC1000 requires no forced air for full ratings and has a chassis height of only 279mm.
Its internal electronics are 91% efficient, with a normal operating temperature range of -10 to +50C.
The unit's thermally conductive, flexible silicon elastomer potting not only conducts heat quickly to the outside air but also helps absorb shock and vibration.
All production units are 100% HASS-tested, making the product even more robust.
The fully UL and CE approved CC1000 has full protection including overvoltage, short circuit, overcurrent, overtemperature and input overcurrent.
Input voltage range is 90-264V AC from 47-63Hz at 13A RMS and standard output voltages are -54 and +48V DC, with custom voltages available.
The unit is also available with CANopen monitoring and control features including remote program, remote inhibit, current monitor, overvoltage sensing, output voltage sensing and overtemperature alarm.
