CAD system is optimised for VLSI

Unique ICs has released a new version of Avocad, its Windows-based CAD system that provides fast design and simulation of analogue-digital circuits represented at the transistor level.

Unique ICs has released a new version of Avocad, its computer-aided design system for Windows, which provides fast design and simulation of analogue-digital circuits represented at the transistor level. Avocad is optimised for very large-scale integrated circuits. Avocad 1.79 combines a design environment with numerous utilities, including a library editor, a model editor etc.

The design environment integrates the following parts: Avocapture for schematic capture; a project manager; Avoprobe, a full functioning postprocessor; the Avosim simulation module; a simulation environment; and other tools.
