Unipower Europe has added an online 'Live support' facility to its website, providing customers with the opportunity to search for and discuss the company's product offering in the live company of a member of Unipower's sales support team. 'Live support' is available from 0800 until midnight GMT operated by support staff at the company's UK and USA facilities.
'Live support' is accessible throughout the site, allowing customers to discuss a product while looking at the relevant page or section.
Where appropriate, the Unipower team member can also 'direct' the customer's browser to a particular part of the site for discussion.
If required, an e-mail transcript of the 'conversation' can be sent to the customer.
Commenting on the new 'Live support' section, Unipower's Nigel Frey said: 'There is often much more to specifying a power source than simply ticking a box or a quick email or phone call'.
'What we are offering with our new 'Live support' facility is the chance for customers to view and select a power source with the real-time assistance of a Unipower support team member'.
'In this way, customers get to discuss their application and the exact power supply solution required with an expert - live'.
