Tyco Electronics Amplimite HDF-20 subminiature D connectors are offered with either metal or plastic shells in plug or socket styles with a choice of sizes from 9 to 50 ways
They are suitable for termination to a wide variety of 28 or 26AWG ribbon cables with a 1.27mm conductor pitch. The Amplimite HDF-20 IDC (insulation displacement contact) mass termination connector is available in five shell sizes for the metal shell product and in four sizes for the plastic version with either conventional mounting holes or threaded inserts.

The durable connectors have a minimum dielectric strength of 500V AC and maximum termination resistance of 25mohm.
Contact current rating is 1.25A.
Minimum insulation resistance is 5Gohm.
