Male headers with a
variety of optional ejectors
Matching the Ansley female socket connectors for indirect flat-cable terminations to boards, Ansley PCB male headers from Tyco Electronics offer a versatile and functional design
They are available in straight and right-angle versions. In addition to the DIN 41651 version, the PCB male connector is also available with moulded-in lateral polarising keys to Mil specifications. Tyco Electronics' headers are available with short and long ejectors. When latched in a closed position, the ejectors provide vibration-proof connections.
When opened, the ejector fully disengages the female socket connector even on very densely populated boards.
In addition, connectors can be stacked to save PCB space without loss of ejector functionality.
Contacts are brass, plated with 0.76um gold selective over 1.27um nickel.
Current rating is 1A, insulation resistance is over 1Gohm, dielectric strength is over 500V DC and temperature rating is -55 to +105C.
