At this week's CTIA Wireless 2006, Texas Instruments is showcasing a live demonstration of the only single-chip mobile digital TV DVB-H solution in the market - the Hollywood chip (DTV1000).
As the first and only single-chip DVB-H solution demonstrated on the Modeo network and in the USA, TI will offer CTIA visitors a live mobile TV viewing experience.
The demonstration includes: TI's DTV1000 Hollywood single-chip solution; TI's OMAP2420 application processor; PacketVideo's pvTV client solution optimised for core Microsoft Windows Media technologies; Silicon and Software Systems' onHandTV DVB-H Mobile DTV software stack; and SRS Labs' WOW HD for improved audio performance.
