TVC Europe is a fast growing distributor of cabling products to the international broadband and telecommunications markets. One example of the company's innovative products is MaxCell. MaxCell is a geo-textile inner-duct that allows network operators to release capacity in their duct networks, in some cases doubling or even trebling the number of cables to be installed.
MaxCell takes the shape of the cables placed in it and enables installers to use 80% of available space without adversely affecting pulling tensions.
MaxCell eliminates costly and time-consuming duct laying and ground work issues by maximising empty duct and having retrofit capabilities in primary or subducts.
MaxCell is a woven fabric with nylon and polyester monofilaments using a shared wall technology to provide an excellent combination of strength, low coefficient of friction and flexibility.
MaxCell has a unique construction that adapts to the contours and size of cable with minimal increase in the occupied cross-sectional area.
MaxCell is supplied in a wide combination of cell numbers and sizes to meet the needs of a variety of industries.
According to Jonathan Rigby, European Sales Manager at TVC: "As networks grow, there is constant pressure to release duct capacity".
"MaxCell is the most efficient way to optimise cable density and duct space and can be deployed quickly and inexpensively, without the need for specialist tools and causes minimal environmental impact".
