Wireless network processor applies multiple PLLs
Ubicom has successfully implemented multiple True Circuits PLL hard macros in its IP3023T wireless network processor using TSMC's 130nm process technology.

Ubicom has successfully implemented multiple True Circuits PLL hard macros in its IP3023T wireless network processor using TSMC's 130nm process technology. The Ubicom processor is now in volume production and offers performance that is up to three times that of comparable SoCs used in wireless applications. The processor's real-time architectural approach offers the highest quality streaming media and the fastest response times for voice and gaming applications.
"We needed a flexible, high-performance and proven timing solution to meet the low latency requirements of our wireless network processor", said Darrell Burns, Vice President of Engineering at Ubicom.
"True Circuits provided us with multiphase clock-generator PLLs that met all our performance requirements and are now enabling our customers to meet their own price and performance goals in the wireless infrastructure and peripheral equipment markets".
