TTAutomotive, TTTech's subsidiary for FlexRay solutions, has announced TTX-Build for production-strength development of electronic control units that conform to the Autosar standard. This modular and scalable configuration tool supports optimised node design and configuration of automotive systems that are based on the Autosar specifications for the FlexRay stack. TTX-Build includes highly effective design functions and extensive consistency checks, which significantly accelerate engineering processes and increase product quality.
TTX-Build will be shipped in November 2006.
TTX-Build was developed in close co-operation with TTAutomotive's customers and specifically addresses the needs of automotive development projects for commercial production.
The tool can automatically generate the configuration for the complete software stack in one step; the process includes the automatic calculation of optimised Autosar allocation parameters.
This ensures valid Autosar configurations.
In addition, TTX-Build enables integration of the Autosar communication platform with production-strength development processes, and therefore reduces the costs of migration to Autosar.
TTX-Build provides highly optimised configurations of the TTAutomotive Autosar FlexRay stack.
The tool supports the import of communication databases that conform to the Fibex standard.
TTX-Build also checks for consistency with the Fibex communication database, thus significantly reducing the risk of specification errors in the early project phase.
TTX-Build is a scalable tool that efficiently adapts to customer requirements.
It uses plug-ins to attach compatible configuration modules for future Autosar components, within the same tool environment.
Individual configuration generators, such as the FlexRay driver and the FlexRay interface, are available as plug-ins to TTX-Build.
This unique and open plug-in concept supports the seamless integration of third-party Autosar components, thus providing the project engineer with an effective and highly integrated development environment for customer-specific selections of Autosar modules.
