Transfer Multisort Elektronik (TME) has developed keypads for various electronic systems.

Together with specialised advanced circuits, capacitive keypads are said to be simple in application and can be used without contact elements.

There are also membrane keypads available, which allow the user to adapt a keypad to specific structural and descriptive needs.

Multipurpose keypads of 3x4 and 4x4 keys offer a number of advanced features.

Their simple design ensures a high operational life (about a million operations per key) and resistance to external conditions, while standard dimensions facilitate mounting in enclosures.

Apart from selecting either 12 or 16 keys, the customer can choose the material from which the keypad is made (plastic or metal); the keypad colour (black, white or silver); the key description (numeric or alphanumeric); a version that is resistant to weather conditions; the key actuating force and stroke; the keypad's overall dimensions; the mounting method; and illuminated keypads.

A special version of the universal keypad is the keyboard switch module.

The keyboard switch module is a small metal waterproof keypad characterised by high resistance and durability, with one to four keys.

Such a structure enables the user to arrange keys freely and to build the most relevant keypad.
