Industrial server maximises data throughput

The Trenton TCS4500 industrial server is now available for deployment in computing applications requiring fast delivery as well as performance and long-term system configuration stability.

Trenton configures, integrates and validates this shallow-depth, high-performance computer with long-life processors installed on Trenton's JXT6966 single-board computer.

The TCS4500 combines the JXT6966 SBC with the BPC7041 PCI Express 2.0 backplane, which offers a solution with 37 lanes of PCIe Gen 2, connected directly to the JXT6966 to maximise system data throughput and bandwidth.

The TCS4500 is said to enable faster system deployments in applications such as shipboard navigation, submarine communications, medical diagnostics and silicon wafer processing machines.

'The shallow-depth design of the TCS4500 chassis plus the high-performance computing capability of the system's SBC, backplane and storage options creates an industrial server platform that is suitable for space-constrained applications,' said Michael Bowling, Trenton's director of operations.

'The TCS4500 includes a validated single-board computer and backplane system solution backed by our five-year factory warranty,' he added.
