New from French LED specialist Traff, Domino Sign is an innovative technology for lighted signs. This new line is a specific, simple and effective solution to sign makers' different requirements. Their easy installation, small overall size, total imperviousness and high degree of flexibility are what make the various products in the Traff line unique and interesting.

Indeed, whatever the type of lighting installed (backlighting, direct or indirect lighting, point-to-point) the Domino Sign line offers LED lighting products that replace the conventional neon.

Unlike LEDs, neon is only able to light up and flash.

The Traff diode assemblies offer greater diversity.

Constituting a multitude of light spots coupled with an electronic master control brain, they can change colour, draw motifs, scroll written texts and display information (temperature, date etc).

The development of diode lighting has many advantages: low power consumption, 24V DC low-voltage power supply, exceptional lifetime of 100kh, very high luminance, and considerable resistance to all types of climate.

Domino Sign also allows sign makers to renew and expand their commercial offering with much greater creativity and flexibility.

This complete line of lighting devices includes various bright modules made up of diodes as well as peripheral equipment such as power supplies, regulators, boards and programming software for manufacturing signs.

The products in the range come in a variety of forms.

First there is the Domino Cob, an ultraflat device designed especially for illuminating letters and backlighting (light halo effect over 180 degrees).

It contains between three and six chip-on-board diodes welded onto an electronic board.

Each board is connected to the next one by means of a parallel connection.

Next there is the Domino Logo, a garland of 5mm high-luminance diodes encapsulated at the back and fastened onto a predrilled metal plate without any welding.

The Logo produces point-to-point lighting.

The Domino Clip, meanwhile, is made up of programmable modules comprising eight 5mm high-luminance diodes.

A removable and replaceable programmable board is incorporated into the power supply box and enables a vast number of animations to be managed module by module.

The Domino Kit, designed for pharmacy shop crosses, is made up of a series of 10 high-luminance LED modules, a power supply box, and a remote control unit.

The modules are either single-colour (256 LEDs per module) or two-colour (512 LEDs per module).

The animation programs are bright and upgradeable (available in the form of Internet downloads).

Finally, the Domino PLV is designed for lighting up Plexiglas by the edge (both bright and low energy consumption).

Traff is continuing to develop on an international scale and is currently seeking distributors covering Europe, the Middle East and North America.
