New from Torex, the XC9119 series are 1.0MHz PWM-controlled step-up DC/DC convertors. With a built-in 2.0ohm switching transistor, a complete XC9119 circuit needs only a small external coil, diode, ceramic capacitors and resistors, making the series ideal for low profile and small board area solutions. The XC9119 series has an operating voltage range of 2.5-6.0V and is able to provide output voltages up to a maximum of 18V making it an ideal IC for LCD panel power supplies.
Efficiencies over 85% can be achieved when stepping up from 5.0 to 12V at output currents of 100mA.
The XC9119 series enters into a shutdown mode when a low level signal is input to the CE pin.
During the shutdown mode, the supply current will be less than 1.0uA.
The series is available in either SOT-25 or the tiny USP-6C (2.0 x 1.8 x 0.6mm) packages.
