Joly helps to drive continued growth
TES Electronic Solutions has promoted Frederic Joly to the position of Technical Marketing Manager
A design team specialising in the development of human-machine interfaces was established in Frankfurt at the beginning of 2004.
The team has developed its own IP, and has won a number of major projects, including the development of the graphical user interface for the next generation of handheld and OEM navigation systems.
The group also supplies technology services to major automotive, industrial and aerospace companies.
The new offices allow for future expansion of the team, and it is planned to increase the number of engineers by at least 20% during 2006.
The new offices have the space to almost double the size of the design team if required.
'The development of user interfaces is a major challenge for electronics OEMs', said Michel Desbard, CEO of TES.
'The new office and planned expansion of our design centre in Frankfurt will allow us to continue the rapid growth of this aspect of TES's business'.
'TES understands the need for local design centres to support our customers', added Bernd Lappas, Manager of TES's Frankfurt design centre.
'We are excited that the company is investing in German design talent, and look forward to the continued growth of this office'.
