Extending its family of leading-edge high-speed data convertors, Texas Instruments has released a 14bit, 170Msample/s analogue-to-digital convertor (ADC) claiming unmatched dynamic performance The ADS5545 offers 72dB full-scale signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and 84dBc spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR) at the maximum sample rate of 170Msample/s and an input frequency of 150MHz, providing increased system capabilities in advanced communications, instrumentation, test and measurement, medical, video and imaging applications
