Texas Instruments has released a high-performance, filter-free stereo Class-D audio power amplifier that enables designers of cellphones to develop audio-rich products, while maximising talk time and audio quality With about two-thirds lower quiescent current and 80% lower noise floor than its nearest competitor, the TPA2012D2 packs high efficiency and audio quality in a tiny package, enabling the features and form factors consumers demand
