European seminars tackle PSU design
Texas Instruments has announced the schedule for its 2003 European Power Supply Design Seminar Series
TI will conduct a series of one-day seminars in 10 European markets beginning on 6th May 2003. This series continues the tradition of technical, but highly practical presentations that contain a blend of advanced power supply concepts, tutorial review of basic design principles, and 'hands-on' applications examples.

Topics for this year's seminar include: 'Understanding and optimising electromagnetic compatibility in switch-mode power supplies'; 'Designing high-power-factor offline power supplies'; 'Achieving high efficiency with a multi-output CCM flyback supply using self driven synchronous rectification'; 'Transformer and inductor design for optimum circuit performance'; 'Under the hood of low-voltage DC/DC convertors'; 'Paralleling power - choosing and applying the best technique for load sharing'; and 'An introduction to TI's newest power supply components'.
The cost of the seminar varies according to location and starts from GBP 145 plus VAT.
Pricing includes lunch, coffee and a copy of the seminar manual and presentation materials.
The seminar series runs from 6th May to 5th June 2003, at various locations in Germany, the UK, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, France, Spain and Italy.
