Logitech previously selected the TRF6001 for its popular Wingman Cordless Rumblepad for PC.

TI will demonstrate the new Logitech controller this week on Booth 313 at Bluetooth Congress 2002 in Amsterdam.
Other Bluetooth applications based on TI Bluetooth solutions, such as gaming, USB dongle and human interface devices (HIDs) will also be demonstrated in the booth.

The TRF6001 offers enhanced receiver sensitivity of -85dBm, which is 15dB better than required by the Bluetooth specification.
This superior sensitivity provides device manufacturers and end users with one of the largest operating ranges available and delivers best-in-class performance when faced with device interference, improving wireless link robustness in heavy usage areas such as the home or office.
The TRF6001 is packaged in a small outline 5 x 5mm, 56 MicroStar Junior BGA package and is fully Rev 1.1 certified.
