Texas Instruments has received a first-year Partners in Performance award from Celestica, a world leader in electronics manufacturing services

This is the second Partners in Performance award that TI's Standard Linear and Logic Division has received from Celestica in the last four years. Awards were handed out last night to select suppliers at Celestica's fourth annual Global Supplier Awards in Toronto. The awards were given in recognition of outstanding achievements and support of Celestica's electronics manufacturing services goals.

'As the world leader in logic, we are always striving to give our customers the support they need to be the best in the market, whether that be through innovative logic products, pricing, on-time delivery, or technical support', says Steve Hanke, worldwide director of marketing for TI's Standard Linear and Logic Division.

'We are pleased that Celestica has again recognised our efforts by giving us this Partners in Performance award'.

The Partners in Performance awards are given to suppliers based on their ability to support Celestica's supply chain management objectives in the following areas: flexibility and responsiveness, impact on asset management, effectiveness and efficiency, and overall supplier performance.

'Texas Instruments' support of Celestica's supply chain requirements was essential to the success of Celestica's relationships with its customers', said Karlheinz Totz, chief procurement officer, Celestica.

'We're proud to recognise TI as one of Celestica's Partners in Performance and we value their contribution immensely'.
